BIKE RODEO

Children need to bring their bike and helmet to participate.  We're currently looking for donated bikes for this event.

Lt. Mark Lewandoski of the Belmont Police Department will be holding a Bike Rodeo at the Belknap County 4-H Fair. What is a Bike Rodeo? The term "Rodeo" may seem kind of odd, bringing to mind images of horses, lassos and hearing "Yippie Ki-Yay", but the name is meant to attract those that need bicycle safety instruction the most….children.

Parents, this is the perfect opportunity for youngsters to learn about bike safety, helmets, bike laws, etc. What better way to get children proper bicycle safety instruction than while spending a fun day at the Belknap County 4-H Fair. Help avoid potentially fatal accidents by providing your children with the tools they need to be safe on the road.
